He really is not the most verbose person I've met. Which does not make him an ideal fit for me, but Midnighter'll have a blast with it.

That's as good a read on him as I have. He's probably looking for a commanding officer as much as he absolutely doesn't want one.
I don't necessarily expect to see enough of him for it to matter, but we'll see. This city tends to throw plans out the window.
