Jean and I have a permanent psychic link in place. It can be shielded from either end, but that isn't something I'd try to hide from her so she should know. We'll talk about it in depth when I'm closer to knowing which direction I'm going with it.

Privacy and life means I'm not usually sharing all her thoughts and feelings or vice versa, but yeah. I can instigate.

I'm sure you're not thinking of doing something like this, but be aware, for the record, I have more capacity than average to shield, and a lot of experience using it.

Otherwise the amount of work she'd have to put in would be... Pretty daunting.

i don't like people poking around in my head. i just haven't heard about a thing like that before being so permanent.

I've had other people in my mind with varying degrees of frequency since I was... eight. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's a nightmare. There's never really been anything between the two.

Jean and Emma are both good at that. Mostly by just... pushing, I think.

i tried with wade. he told me he gets nightmares sometimes. so i gave him a sweet dream instead. admittedly i hadn't tried that before but it worked.

i don't know. what if something happened? what if they did something here? what if you got lost within a darkness they subject you to here? needed something bright and good to hold onto? if you needed help finding one.

No. Stick with a sense of purpose and the people who need me. I don't mind telepathy for communication. I don't mind having my mind read in most instances, even deeply. With a subset of people, a good cause or specific circumstance I will share sensation and emotion. I cannot stand my mind being manipulated any more elaborately than 'shut it down'.
