[Chris' expression remains dark, but he moves past Scott at least to go settle on his couch instead. Glasses fixed. Friend fixed. Now he needed to work on his irritation on Scott's behalf, especially when there wasn't a lot of use in it.]

Well, there's that, at least. Reasonable anger and response.
