Scott shook his head, definitively and started to speak but was cut off by a knock at the door. He did his pivot and stand and went to collect their food and coffee and pay for it. He got a pretty hard, unpleasant (and uncomfortable) look when he opened the door with deeply tinted glasses, but he didn't respond to it.
He didn't respond to it at all, actually, just paid the man, gave him the tip, and walked back inside to hand Sandy his food and coffee before returning to the desk with his own.
