Most of the people he was talking about didn't have much of a secret identity. That was the thing about being trapped outside of reality or, in his case, in a cage for years. It kind of destroyed the need for things like that. But--

Jay and Alan could, of course. They could be friendly. But when push came to shove, it usually involved Alan flashing them out and the JSA doing what they felt they had to do anyway. Not the most diplomatic.
